Range Forum

The current members of the organizing committee are: Dr. Mike Brand, Dr. John Hendrickson, Dr. Amy Ganguli, Sheila McNee, and Jeff Printz. On December 6, 2004 Mike Brand, Sheila McNee, Jeff Printz and Jim Wickel met over pizzas to discuss how to provide a way for better communication among people interested in range management in North Dakota. We wanted to provide a neutral forum where everyone was welcome to state their ideas and discuss them without the confining perspective of agency policy.

People may have questions about range management or theories that they would like to "bounce off" someone. This is the place for that to happen without fear of criticism. This is also the place to find resources to answer specific questions that you might have. Post your question on the bulletin board and see if someone may have an answer or suggestion or check the phone directory to find a person who might be able to help. Above all, we hope that with better communication, people interested in range management can create a stronger and more cohesive interest in this field in North Dakota. Eventually, a more cohesive group of range managers will result in more credibility in our profession with the public.
