Bridge Conference Room ARS Research Center, Mandan
It has been over 5 years since Dr. Vermeire presented this topic at a Range Forum on December 7, 2005. We are fortunate that Dr. Vermeire will be giving a seminar that will provide us with new information on the timely topic of fire effects and grazing. Dr. Vermeire will discuss 1) Fire effects on species composition, standing crop, and current-year biomass; 2) Stocking rate effects after summer fire; and perhaps even 3) fire and its effects on grasshoppers.
Bring your lunch and enjoy this Range Forum. It is only the second one in cooperation with N.D.S.U. by video conference. The video capabilities at the A.R.S. Research station have been upgraded and we can now use the large conference room.
Qualifies for 1 C.E.U.
